These investigations are to look at response on people of new medication or intervention and side effects in relation to the same.
A clinical trial is a study, which is conducted on Human beings in order to answer specific questions about new Vaccines, medication, new therapies or diagnostic procedures. The goal is to know new ways to use known treatments. In order to determine the efficacy and effectiveness of a new treatment or drug or diagnostic a Clinical Trial is done.
A Reference Listed Drug(RLD) is an approved drug on which comparison is done by new generic versions so that the new versions can prove bioequivalence. In order to market a generic equivalent the same drug company needs to prove that their product is Bioequivalent and then they can register the product in that market.
